A.M. Bickford’s reservoir breathing bags provide safety and convenience to the patient and veterinary staff.  Staff must choose the appropriate size and inspect bags before each use. Available in ½ liter–5 liter sizes.

The reservoir breathing bag is a critical component for a safe and successful surgery.  The bag inflates slightly with every exhalation and deflates slightly with each inhalation. This movement provides a visual indicator of the patient’s respiratory rate.

Additionally, the breathing bag works as a reservoir of additional gas. The patient may draw from the additional gas if respiratory demands exceed gas flow delivered from the machine.

Manufactured using medical grade latex the lightweight and flexible design are easy to handle and manipulate, enhancing the efficiency of veterinary procedures.
